Sami Paige had a really fun birthday this year!
Sami Paige really loves to be girly...she got a pink leotard this year that she is ecstatic about...she's worn it every day it hasn't been in the wash. It was the perfect gift for this girly girl.
Sami has been asking to have her ears pierced for about a year now. I couldn't justify it for a random purchase so we decided to have it done as a BD present. She was so brave. There were a few tears and when we got home she insisted I take them out...but the next day she was great and decided she loved them. She got little pink and purple butterflies and has to wear them till the end of May...then she gets to change it up and have fun!
The kids at the mall after Sami got her ears pierced.
Sami asked for an Anna and Elsa cake theme this year. I went to town on trying to make the perfect cake for her...though we all don't like cake very much and I knew that it wouldn't get eaten!
Sami was really excited when she saw her cake...she thought it was perfect...yeah!
I used pearls for snowballs, some figures she already had, colored some sugar pink to go over the purple frosting and added some butterflies just because!
Sami requested her two favorite things for her BD dinner....cinnamon rolls and bacon. She ate them both at the same time. She was a very satisfied BD girl...she was in bacon heaven!
Aunt Andrea sent her a fun craft kit and Mike and her got to work on it during the day!
Sami got a whole lot of princess nail polish for her bd. She loves painting each fingernail a different color!
Whit getting ready for school that morning...she looked so cute I had to get a picture...
Sami got lots of Frozen themed stuff...she is still a huge fan!
She got a cute pair of flip flops from Aunt Andrea and some fun clothes from Grandma.
I've been looking everywhere for Barbie Island Princess...they love the Ro story with the animals...I finally found it at Target in the $5 bins...so lucky! She was pretty excited about some Barbie DVD's as she only gets to watch the ones from the library!
Sami has grown up so much this year. She is incredibly social and HAS to be with her friends. Hanging out with boring mom at home she has decided is really boring. She is constantly going- running, jumping, playing, using her imagination. She loves to be climbing, riding her bike, talking to people and just in general being social. I am so proud of what a sweet girl she is becoming. She is thoughtful and sensitive and likes to share and help everyone feel included. She is stubborn and feisty, does not like her hair brushed, does not like to be told what to wear, changes 20's a day, loves long bathes with bubbles, makes lots and lots of messes in the kitchen and prefers to do everything herself. She likes to stay up with mom and cuddle with mom in bed in the morning. She has to be woken up as she likes to sleep in and does not like to be rushed. She carries her three baby blankies everywhere-2 pink and 1 white and loves them to pieces. She relaxes and can calm down when she has her three blankies and a sippy cup of milk. I just love my Sami Paige and couldn't imagine life without this sweet girly girl!
